About

1986 was a bleak year when spouses Antonio and Gloria Ynoc were both laid off from their job. This was brought about by the scrambling economy which was affected by the death of the then Sen. Ninoy Aquino. Antonio being an Accountant of a Makati based Construction Company and Gloria and Operations Officer of a Manila based cargo forwarding firm. Both were assigned in Cebu City branch with employment span of 7 years.

With Gloria’s expertise and almost zero resources the couple decided to venture into a small Cargo Delivery business. With no home of their own, no vehicles, no office nor even a telephone, no capital, the couple relied on a small farm of their parents which they loaned to a neighbor for a measly amount. Then came some friends who helped them by lending them some money, vehicles and moral support.

After a year of struggle, the couple was able to acquire on a loan a non-running 1975 model Ford Fiera delivery van from a client who agreed to accept services as monthly amortization. With a little reconditioning the vehicle was restored, operational and became the backbone of their business activity.

Twenty two (22) years later the Company grew dramatically employing hundreds, acquiring real estates and maintained thirty three (33) light and heavy duty trucks. Periodical Re-fleeting of vehicles results in the sale of some other Thirty (30) older units throughout the span of the company’s operation.

Extra income was diversified into real estate business one of which is the weight (8) hectare six year old beach resort, THE SAN REMIGIO BEACH CLUB. With 50 rooms, Convention Center, Club House with swimming pool, 250-seater Café Gloria and many other facilities, SRBC becomes one of the favorite destination for local and foreign tourists.

The recent involvement of the two young Ynoc siblings into the operation, Prime Movers is heading to evolve into a Family Business Chain.

With vast experience, organized key officers, adequate logistics and financial capabilities the company is at the advantage position to engage into more and bigger projects.
